Why don't you let it grow multiple trunks?

I need to plant something under the maple trees (approx 15-20yrnold trees) so that I don’t have to mow around them. The above ground roots make it difficult. These are in the middle of the lawn and get full sun from the side half the day. I’m in 8b NE Tx. Hot. Humid. And really dry this time of year. Could these work?

These trees are vigorous, and invasive. Once you have one, you will get dozens every year.

We planted one of these a couple of years ago. Full sun, Atlanta GA zone 8? The leaves tend to be droopy so maybe we are not watering enough, but we have never had any blooms on at all. Ideas?

I'm in zone 5 I believe I have 2 of them in the front of my house..they were already planned when we moved in and was doing great up until this year. Don't know why but they started to lose a lot of leaves, so it's starting to look bare in some spots.(ben here 6 years)

Sooo. I purchased an edgeworthia seedling back in spring. Planted outside, it has grown to about a foot in length. I’m wondering, if it will branch on its own or do you think I should start clipping it? Much thanks.

I have a Live Oak in the back yard. Merely 25 years old, and provides a great canopy of shade. Loves the heat and sandy soil and really does well to attracts local wildlife from squirrels to crows and small birds alike. Storms. No issues. Drought. Tough as nails. This tree could live for over 1000 years.

To grow on a vinyl fence, will it attach itself or do i need to provide a trellis or wire to train it on?

Do you have to cut the berries off of it for it to rebloom again?

Hi. Would like to say that I have this vine growing in front of my house. For very long time I didn’t know what it is. It just started to sprout and knew it was some kind of a vine, so I let it be. For at least five years it never bloomed, not until this past spring of 2024, I was so surprised to see yellow blooms which is somewhat fragrant. I am from Ohio and the zone is 6a. I had no idea where it came from, but I think I’ll keep it. 😊 Enjoying your vlogs. Thank you.

I LOVE that you trained it into a tree! I've been looking for something for a back corner of my property and this is perfect! Does this need two to produce the berries or is it self-pollinating/self-fertile (excuse my newbie question if you answered it in the video) like the Tea Viburnum??

I live outside of Wilmington, NC. My property is COVERED with these - they are tall, established, and native bees love the flowers, too!

My live oaks shed like dogs, lol. All 9 of ours take turns dropping leaves and that’s around 3 times a year. Great show and thanks for bringing attention to my favorite tree.

I’d like the double file as a neighbor screen in front of a fence so it’s even higher privacy . Plenty of sun . You are saying Shasta goes big like 10 plus but many say they are 6 ft ?? . What will happen if I plant Juliet cleyera in place where there is 1-3 hours of sun only?

I have a ‘Blue ice’ Cypress, It’s its fist season in the ground so it’s still very young. Unfortunately the leader snapped right off in a storm. There was a part in the video where you said not to cut the leader off. I guess my question is, what happens if you do, or it snaps off like in my case?
